WTM LONDON 2015
Next to the ITB fair in Berlin the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, although being way much smaller than the ITB, the WTM is one of the major platforms for travel business. The main focus of the WTM lies on B2B -Business t(w)o Business- partnerships. The retail B2C -Business t(w)o Customer- was still present, however, with only one day open for public it is not a core goal. For the WTM 2016 this public day has been already deleted. Thus, the WTM will become a pure trade fair for suppliers in the tourism and travel industry.
Taking the numbers of exhibitors of last year in comparison, you will quickly find out that the share of electronics suppliers (eg hotel reservation systems) and resellers (eg Hotelbeds) compared to stands of hotel chains is growing steadily. Tourist provider (cities and countries) are well represented, but the trend toward technology is unmistakable.
TOP INTERNATIONAL is therefore fully up to date and has shared the booth with its long lasting partner Pegasus Solutions (reservation system provider). Numerous contacts with interested hoteliers, new partnerships with booking portal solutions and existing partners met at the stand and the TOP partner hoteliers can look forward to some new innovations in 2016.
The next WTM takes place from 07th - 09th November 2016.
