The niu Amity Hotel Potsdam takes its name from the nearby Friendship Island - amity is English for friendship. The hotel design also alludes to the theme of friendship: some people are reminded of the Boy Scouts, others of GDR youth camps. The whole design is combined with modern style, natural colours and materials. In the 198 non-smoking rooms, the latest technology awaits you: whether air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, flat-screen smart TVs or Bluetooth speakers with powerful sound - the equipment invites you to relax and linger. Feel free to come to the Living Lobby at any time; here you will find co-working tables with integrated power and USB connections. You can also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with bar food and drinks. You can also relax in the sauna area with rainforest shower and heat bench (fee required). The reception is open 24 hours a day. The niu Amity Hotel is centrally located in Potsdam, south of the Freundschaftsinsel and only 300 metres from Potsdam's main railway station. From there, Potsdam's sights, such as Sanssouci Palace or the Dutch Quarter, can be easily explored. For all guests arriving by car, there is a parking garage under the hotel for which a fee is charged.
