The Montafon is located in Vorarlberg in the very west of Austria and stretches from Bludenz southeast between the mighty mountain ranges Rätikon and Verwall to the Silvretta group. The Piz Buin (3,312 m) is the ice-covered three-thousander and the "landmark" at the end of the valley. St. Gallenkirch and the BergSPA & Hotel Zamangspitze are located in the middle of this fantastic mountain world. The traditional house of the Metzler family is situated on a sunny slope with the most beautiful view of the Illtal valley and the impressive Silvretta massif.

Warm and cosy colours dominate the 66 rooms and suites and create a cosy, alpine holiday atmosphere. The real wood furniture was manufactured by regional carpenters. All rooms have bright bathrooms, hairdryer, television, safe, minibar and partly balcony. Two thirds of the rooms also have a fantastic view of the valley and the imposing mountain panorama.

All active people and those who want to become active again will find here, at any time of the year, the most varied sporting opportunities.
The Zamangspitze weekly programme offers water gymnastics, yoga, Qi Gong, posture gymnastics, body toning, Nordic walking and much more in summer, as well as a guided hike with Mr Metzler, e.g. to the Balbierwasserfall.

Restaurant

The kitchen team conjures up culinary delicacies on the table with a lot of love and creativity, mainly and preferably with local products, from the breakfast buffet to the vitality buffet at lunchtime to the five-course dinner menus, gala buffets, Italian or Montafon evenings. "Homely & genuine" is the motto here - and it convinces!

Already during the construction of the new 1000 sqm BergSPA, special emphasis was placed on positive energy, peace and harmony. And a lot has been done to keep the wellness and health area free of interference fields.
The pure mountain air of Montafon, the crystal clear mountain spring water, the rich flora, the power of the earth and the knowledge of their interaction are the basis for the new BergSpa. Here, people reflect on the beneficial effects of bog, stone oil, brine, mountain hay flowers, Swiss stone pine and mountain pine, Alpine herbs, whey or goat's milk and have put together an extensive range of regionally proven treatments. The exclusive care series "Fermes de Marie" pampers the skin with extracts of edelweiss, arnica or mint.

The generous "sweat landscape" with Finnish parlour and bio steam saunas, brine steam baths, bio saunas and relaxation rooms tempt you to switch off and recharge your batteries in equal measure. Swimming, Kneipp and in the ice grotto the circulation gets going again.

The new heart of BergSPA is the private SPA suite for double treatments.
